"Library is a growing organism" said Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, Father of Library Science in India. The library of our Institute has followed this precept faithfully and has grown from strength to strength in the past three decades of our existence. The central library of the Institute, which was started with 387 books in a room of 70 Sq.m. at the time of inception, has grown to a collection of 63,430 books occupying an entire 1st floor of the wing in Block-II measuring 1161 Sq.m., seating more than one hundred fifty users at a time.


Membership of the library is open to all the students, faculty and the non-teaching staff of the Institute. Membership is also extended to the members of management and administration. The faculty are eligible for borrowing upto 5 books at a time, Final U.G. and P.G. students five books, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Year students three books with a duration of 21 days, and all other staff members are eligible to borrow three books at a time, (those whose children are studying in this Institutions).


The Central Library is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday and Saturday it works from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In the vacation period the Central Library is open only 9:30 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.
