The KITSW Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship Foundation (KIIREF), in collaboration with FoundersLab, successfully organized Prototype Expo 2025 on the occasion of World Entrepreneurs' Day at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITSW), Yerragattu Hillocks, Bheemaram, Hasanparthy, Warangal. We were privileged to have Smt. Sakuntala Kasaragadda, Founder & CEO of FoundersLab, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Sathya Peddapally, Director of FoundersLab, as our Guest of Honour. Their insights and encouragement greatly inspired our young innovators. The expo featured 40+ student prototypes, highlighting creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking. Beyond showcasing ideas, the event served as a platform for learning, collaboration, and exposure to the innovation ecosystem. The energy, passion, and enthusiasm displayed by the students truly reflected the spirit of innovation at KITSW. Events like these reinforce our commitment to nurturing talent and driving impactful change through entrepreneurship and research. |

Dr. M. Ramulu, Member Secretary, AICTE, visited the Innovation, Incubation, Research & Entrepreneurship Foundation (Ci2RE) at KITS Warangal. He was received by Principal Dr. K. Ashoka Reddy and Ci2RE Head Dr. K. Raja Narendra Reddy, along with coordinators of IdeaLab, MSME-BI, and E-Cell, the incubation team, and student leaders from SAiL. Dr. Ramulu toured the AICTE-sponsored IdeaLab, interacted with students, and reviewed prototypes. He guided them on idea validation, market readiness, and funding opportunities, while also highlighting AICTE scholarships supporting innovators. Commending KITSW's efforts, he noted that the IdeaLab has trained over 3,000 students in design thinking, prototyping, and product development, and praised Ci2RE for fostering a vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. |

We are thrilled to announce that the results of MSME Hackathon 4.0 are out, and our star cohort member Rashita, a 3rd-year student from the CSE (Networks) Department, has emerged victorious, securing an incredible ?15 Lakhs in funding for her groundbreaking idea, "Sanjeevani - A Holistic Health Track Approach"! This idea focuses on integrating technology with holistic health monitoring, aiming to revolutionize the way individuals track and manage their well-being. The dedicated team at Ci2RE played a crucial role in helping her validate, refine, and structure the concept, ensuring it was both innovative and impactful. We take immense pride in nurturing young innovators and empowering them to turn ideas into reality. The internship program, jointly organized by C-i2RE and MAAD IoT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., was successfully inaugurated on June 12, 2025. The event began with Jyothi Prajwalana, followed by welcome addresses from Ms. Dhruti (Incubation Manager, C-i2RE), Mr. Mokshith (CEO, MAAD IoT Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), and Mr. Raju Sir (President). Mr. Dhanush delivered the vote of thanks. A brainstorming session on identifying real-world problem statements was conducted by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sahu (Senior Incubation Associate, C-i2RE). The program aims to nurture innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills among students. Participants were introduced to the internship structure, expectations, and collaborative goals. This marked the beginning of a multi-week hands-on journey focused on research, ideation, and prototype development. The sessions were designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs. All participants actively engaged in discussions and showed great enthusiasm throughout the event. The day concluded with teams beginning to shortlist problem areas for further exploration under mentor guidance. |

An Awareness Session on Virtual Labs developed by IIT Kanpur was conducted on 24th April 2025 (Thursday) at the Silver Jubilee Seminar Hall, Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW), organized by KITSW I2REF (Innovation, Incubation, and Research Entrepreneurship Foundation). The session was led by Mr. Vinay Kumar Tripathi, Senior Project Associate at Virtual Labs, IIT Kanpur, who provided a comprehensive overview of the initiative's origin, vision, and scope. He guided faculty on accessing, navigating, and effectively integrating Virtual Labs into their curriculum. Emphasizing the benefits of simulation-based learning, such as remote accessibility, cost-effectiveness, and increased student engagement, Mr. Tripathi also demonstrated select virtual experiments relevant to various engineering disciplines. The session aimed to promote the adoption of digital tools in technical education and was well-received by the participants. |

C-i2RE is thrilled to announce Cohort 3 of its Pre-Incubation Program, launching on 7th April 2025. Designed for early-stage student innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs, the program helps transform raw ideas into structured and scalable business models. Through hands-on sessions, expert mentoring, and real-world feedback, participants will work on idea validation, business model development, and pitch deck preparation. The cohort concludes with a final pitch to the C-i2RE team for further incubation opportunities. Active participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. |

Competing against 533 global teams, their project, DevDocs-an AI-driven platform providing real-time answers from company documentation to streamline developer workflows-emerged as the winner, earning them a cash prize of $3000.
