Library User Orientation programme is an information session to guide the B. Tech I year students about library resources, services, policy that will help in their studies, research, technical quiz, projects and field work.

KITSW LIBRARIAN HONOURED WITH BEST LIBRARIAN AWARD (12.08.2024)

Dr. Komalla Indrasena Reddy, Librarian of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Warangal was honoured with the Best Librarian Award by KU Library Professionals Association (KULPA) on Monday. On the eve of 132nd Birthday day of the father of Library Science Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, at a programme held at Kakatiya University Library, Chief Guest University College Principal, Prof. B. Suresh Lal, Library Member Incharge Prof. G. Shamitha, Library Science Department Head Dr. B. Radhika Rani felicitated him for his commendable contribution in the library field. P. Kondal Reddy, Krishnama Charya Vedantham, M. Manohar Rao, Dr. M. Anjaiah, Dr. K. Ramanaiah and others took part in the Award presentation.

NATIONAL LIBRARIANS DAY CELEBRATIONS 2024 (12.08.2024)

Central Library, KITSW organized “Librarian’s Day celebration” on the occasion of 132st Birthday of Padhmasree Dr. S.R.Ranganathan 12th august 2024 at Central library. The programme started with the offering of floral tributes to the portrait Dr. S.R.Ranganathan by the chief guest of the programme of Prof. K. Venu Madhav, Dean Academic affairs and assisted by Dr. K.Indrasena Reddy, Librarian.

VISITED BY THE KAKATIYA UNIVERSITY, M.L.I.Sc STUDENTS TO KITS, CENTRAL LIBRARY ON 11-07-2024

As a part of curriculum M.L.I.Sc (Regular) (2023-24) Students, Department of Library & Information Science, Kakatiya University Warangal has visited KITSW, Central Library on 11-07-2024 to explore the practical knowledge in the field of the library & Information science.

Dr K. Indrasena Reddy, Librarian made a power point presentation, the facilities and services provided by the library of KITSW, Continuing his presentation stressed on the use of the Digital library and e-journals and remote access to update the knowledge in the desired field.

A One Day IEEE Workshop on 22/01/2024 by the Central Library

A one day program Workshop on “Knowledge at your Fingertips: Mastering IEEE Xplore for Research Excellence”, (sponsored by IEEE and in collaboration with EBSCO Information Services India Ltd.) is conducted on 22/01/2024 by the Central Library, KITSW to the Students.
