NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK CELABRATIONS (14-20 th November 2023) |

In connection with 57th National Library week the institute celebrated NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK ON 14 November 2024. The programme is inaugurated by Prof. M. Komal Reddy, Registrar, KITSW. All the Head of Departments, faculty and students were participated in the programme. In this connection, Central library has conducted book exhibition on 20th November 2024. The Chief Guest Prof. G.Shamitha, Former member-in-charge, Library, IQAC Co-ordinator and Head, Dept of Zoology, Kakatiya University, Warangal has inaugurated the program. In the book exhibition nearly 1000 latest titles were displayed. The chief guest presented certificate of best reader award to students and faculty as well.

Dr. Komalla Indrasena Reddy, Librarian of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Warangal was honoured with the Best Librarian Award by KU Library Professionals Association (KULPA) on Monday. On the eve of 132nd Birthday day of the father of Library Science Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, at a programme held at Kakatiya University Library, Chief Guest University College Principal, Prof. B. Suresh Lal, Library Member Incharge Prof. G. Shamitha, Library Science Department Head Dr. B. Radhika Rani felicitated him for his commendable contribution in the library field. P. Kondal Reddy, Krishnama Charya Vedantham, M. Manohar Rao, Dr. M. Anjaiah, Dr. K. Ramanaiah and others took part in the Award presentation. |

Indrasena Reddy, Librarian made a power point presentation, the facilities and services provided by the library of KITSW, Continuing his presentation stressed on the use of the Digital library and e-journals and remote access to update the knowledge in the desired field. |
